Happy Birthday Card

Playing along with Card Positioning Systems Sketch 114 I created this card with a funky color scheme.  Really simple layout with nothing complicated here.  But the neon ribbon at the bottom I really like – somehow makes the card more happy, despite all the muted darker colors.

I like the color scheme in general and will try other ways to use those papers and achieve a different look.  This time around I used hot glue to put the card together, which really just made a mess.  The only other adhesive I have is white glue that usually messes up the paper as it is too wet and seeps through.  I really need to get some double-sided tape!

Nice card! I like the color combo. I like double sided tape that rolls on, plus I like the spray glue. I use a lot of paper towels when I spray, but it seems to hold best. Not sure what everyone else uses.
