Digital Scrapbooking

My love of paper first moved into handmade cards, then came digital designs and it’s probably about time I tried digital scrapbooking!  Talk about fun!  It’s so nice to have lots of materials at your fingertips to create page layouts with endless time for experimentation and editing without wasting a scrap of paper in the process.  I joined the community at Two Peas and created my first digital scrapbook layout below…woohoo!

Rain Rain Go Away Digital Card Design

I just saw the sketch challenge posted in my Google RSS reader from Everything but the Kitchen Sink, so I had to participate!  I quickly whipped up a digital card design according to the sketch, using my girl singing in the rain digital stamp image.  You can see my digital stamps in my Etsy store as well.  I think it all turned out pretty nice, hope you enjoy!  Thanks for stopping by!

Girl Angel Singing Digital Card Design

I saw the sketch challenge for The Sweet Stop and decided I had to create a card to participate.  It was so unique to see the ribbon in an X shape!  I decided to use one of my original digital stamps – the girl angel singing which you can find in my Etsy shop!  I created everything digitally, here’s my card!

Girl in Ruffles Digital Card Design

I just caught up in reading this week’s posts on Caardvarks and they are showcasing great designers using Hero Arts, woohoo!  The cards are so beautiful and I love hero arts designs, been following their blog for some time now!  I noticed that Caardvarks has a challenge along with the showcase to use a digital element in a new card – whoa!  Perfect opportunity to use my own digital stamp images, so I decided to use my girl in ruffles image.  Here’s my card design for the challenge and it’s completely digital…I designed everything in Illustrator and went for a pastel color scheme for the background.  Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card!

Santa’s Helper Digital Card Design

Another quickie digital card design today…I used my little elf digital stamp image to participate in The Sweet Stop sketch challenge this week.  I followed along the sketch layout, but created everything digital with bold colors for a change.  A pretty random mix!

Jingle Bells Digital Card Design

Whoa, a bit behind this week and I am just catching up on all my RSS feeds!  December 8th is a holiday in Italy, so this past 4 day weekend has been family time.  I found a bit of time today to participate in the digital tuesday challenge, to create a card around a Christmas song.  The first thing that came to mind was Jingle Bells!  A classic, right?  Here’s my card design…

I created all the graphics for this card and also the bells and stars background paper.  Feel free to download the PDF of the pattern design below for your personal use!

Digital Stamps in the Store

So I’ve taken the plunge and working on adding digital stamps into my newly setup Etsy store for my artwork.  Whew…it was interesting to do the research regarding how folks present their digital stamps and getting everything uploaded.  I hope to add a stamp stamp daily – there I said it!  Now I have to do it!  Here’s the first one I entered today…please check out my shop and let me know what you think.  I appreciate all feedback!  Thank you!
