Girlfriends Scrapbook Page

I have a lot of my wedding photos still hanging around and decided to do a layout of my good friend Stephanie and I. We’ve been together through so much and here in Italy…truly a great girlfriend :)

Part of the challenge for this page was to use a paper that I have been hoarding. I used the pink Japanese washi paper that I’ve been keeping around, for I don’t know what! We often just hoard supplies that are so beautiful, even though it doesn’t make any sense. I decided to include this for the challenge over at One More Scrap since they encourage you to use something you’ve just bought or been hoarding! I also did a handwritten title with my sparkly black Copic pen…instead of defaulting to printing through the computer. I like how everything came together, including the two rings in the background representing unity that I created by just swishing my pink ink pad onto the cardstock. I think it’s great to push yourself out of your comfort zone at times when being creating and having fun. Hope you like this layout!

Thanks so much…the rings are just a tiny ink pad rub in a circle…direct to paper! :)
