Print Some Horizontal Journaling Cards

After posting my printable journaling cards, I realized that I needed horizontal variations! I happen to have a stack of clear pockets in that format, so I went back into Illustrator and created a new set of journaling cards. These cards are specifically designed to be horizontal in format. A mix of designs to help you record those daily thoughts and notes…

You can actually use these in your digital scrapbooking layouts, as with all my digital products. However, I also love to print out digital designs to use them in crafting projects as well as traditional scrapbooking. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

If you like these journaling cards, please consider showing your support by purchasing my digital scrapbooking products at CatScrap. Grazie!

These are *super* cool. I’m thinking of doing Project Life in my art journal, so these will be wonderful, along with the vertical cards you posted. Thank you!

Thanks, Chel! Hope you can use them… I think it’s great for general notes too, not just scrapbooking. Fun to have things that are a bit designed up :)

hello! thanks for offering these great printables, love em! quick question re: your minis….you say you simply fold paper in 1/2 which i think is cool, but do you adhere the halves together? i’m just curious :)

hi tammy! regarding your question, i’ve actually done multiple variations. sometimes i adhere halves of paper together back to back with glue. other times I fold and just leave it loose, but punch holdes for the binding on the non-folded ends – so it’s like having an empty pocket and sides of the paper that I never use. You can also glue your pages back to back like an accordion book if you want…lots of possibilities!

Hi! I just wanted to say thank you for sharing these. I am a project life want-to-be and found these on Pinterest when I was poking around there, dreaming of PL. I’m not sure how I will use these but they are darling…thanks!

Thank you for these! I am doing PL for the first time this year, and hit a snag with a whole lot of vertical photos for the week, and very limited horizontal journaling cards. You have saved me. :)

Thanks much! I picked up these and your toothpick flags. Cute stuff. I don’t do PL but I do like things like this for my regular layouts. Appreciate the freebie!

Thanks for the freebie. This might be a dumb question, but how do you get the journaling cards to print out the correct size for PL? Do you print them one at a time?

    Thanks, Linda

There are a few options! If your printer has the option, you can print at 100% because the cards are 3×4 inches at 300 dpi.

Or you can put them into a Microsoft document and size however you want. Or do the same in a graphical program.

Sometimes it might take some testing, but once you get the hang of it, it’s straightforward.

If you want to print journaling directly there’s also a great post here: http://paisleepress.com/2011/08/project-life-how-to-print/

      hope that helps!
