Scrapbooking Happi 2gether

Sometimes I run out of alphabet letters – well, all the time actually – so I make do and title my pages with a bit of creativity. Today, I had lots of other things to do…but decided to scrapbook this page anyway. It makes me happy to see this photo of us, because my husband and I have fewer and fewer photos together it seems. I suppose that might be because I point the camera at our puppy all time. Bizarre that I have to remind myself to turn the camera around sometimes…

The idea for the layout design is from the latest 2ps challenge. My freehand cutting made the quilting paper part a lot harder than it had to be! But I love the mix of patterns and all the colors…maybe I am a patterned paper girl after all. I’m starting to think my past layouts that start start with plain colored cardstock, was simply an effect of having a stack of colored cardstock on hand. Guess I’m easily impressionable!

I really, really like this- I love the papers you chose. I would LOVE to see your paper stash someday. I bet there’s lots of great stuff in there!

lol… actually I buy a lot of stacks from DCWV, because if I choose each sheet, I get a bit crazy and then it’s just stressful! so with the stacks, I get 48 sheets that match up nicely! I definitely have more paper than necessary though…eek!
