Visited the town of Lucca today… but the coolest thing was how the side of the cathedral was lighted up like the night sky, for the nativity scene they constructed. Just looks surreal. Showing my nieces around Florence…here’s the beautiful view from Piazzale Michelangelo. My favorite photo is actually inside the Rose Garden, where there was a sculpture with a persimmon tree.
