Little Valentines – Spinner Card

I’ve seen cards like this before in galleries and decided to try it out for myself. Since the focus is on the disc in the middle that spins, I didn’t really feel the need to add much else.

The red paper for the card base was embossed with a heart design and I added a bit of dashed lines around the circle window, but that’s it. The LOVE stamp is from Hero Arts and the sentiment, I forget!

I thought it would be a more involved card to put together, but was actually quite easy. However, my concern was what to do with the inside! I realize the center spins, but when the card is opened up my sentiment is upside down. Oh well! It still turned out pretty nice and instead of creating a whole panel to cover the back, I just cut out strips of white paper to act as banners. Another sweet simple card…

    That’s so cool! I love those spinner cards at the holidays with the ornament that spins… What a lovely card!
