Little Valentines – LUV Heat Embossed Heart Card

In a rush today, but wanted to create something high impact…so I just cut out a heart shape in thick paper and painted it red. Then using ultra thick embossing powder, heat embossed it with 3 layers…creating that high gloss. The letters LUV are on the first layer, but they turned a bit yellow with all the heat… not exactly what I planned.

I just popped it up on a notecard and sewed around the edge…nothing too complicated at all.

Super quick and easy… adding a yummy chocolate on top – always a good idea!

Looks great! I have tons of embossing powder but never use it because I hate the granuals getting all over. I don’t know why, but it drives me BONKERS. I wish they had it in a squeeze bottle like with Stickles.

I know what you mean by the mess…sometimes it’s just too much trouble…but I do love the look!
