Gosh, I remember those last few weeks before Gracie came home. It seemed like it went so fast, but then every moment lasted an eternity. And then she came home, and it wasn’t a transition- it was all hands on deck! But so much fun getting to know her. People told me to get ready for the rush of things, but at the heart of it all is a little *person* to learn about and love and have her love back, and a big part of your heart gets filled that you didn’t even know was there.
