Waiting Scrapbooking Page

Wish I had some photographer friends here, but nevertheless I tried to take some more “artistic” photos of myself in this last month of pregnancy. Lots of ideas and inspiration, but a lot harder to pull off! I like this snapshot though, so had to scrap it… as I’m in the waiting stage now. Last weeks, waiting for our new arrival.

This page has been on my mind for a while and the bits and pieces I used have been lying around my desk for weeks. The elephants are actually really shiny confetti pieces, but I dulled them down using white acrylic paint. The papers are Summer’s End by Fancy Pants which I love for the subdued colors.

There are some chipboard pieces from the same line, but the title is actually something I created digitally and printed out. I love alphas, but just can’t afford to keep buying them, especially since I tend to use the same letters for some reason. I hate having all the leftovers and feeling like I need to find a way to use those leftover alpha stickers, bah!

The final touch was to add some sparklies here and there. It’s a simple layout, but I love the soft look of it all. It feels great to finally scrap after weeks of hiatus. It’s funny how time flies…
